Hi! I was raised in Staunton Virginia. During my high school years, I had a successful career in volleyball which allowed me to perform in junior Olympics. Playing junior Olympics gave me the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball at Eastern Mennonite University. After a career ending injury, I decided to stop playing competitively and to start coaching. I started working with an old coach of mine and my passion for coaching quickly grew. I have been coaching volleyball for 6 years now. I am the Head Coach at Stuart Hall Private School as well as Head Coach of a junior Olympics team. Coaching young girls has made me realize how important youth development really is. Not only do I need to grow their skills on the court, but I must help them navigate through important milestones in their life. My girls have taught me to be patient, compassionate, loving, relentless, dependable, and most importantly a listener.

My life motto is, “No matter where you are, compassion will get you far.” I chose to work at Friendly City because everyone on our staff is compassionate and caring. Being surrounded by people who genuinely care is so incredibly special and uplifting. That is why I am so excited to be here. Whether its insurance, referrals, or any questions you may have, I am here and happy to help! If I am not in the office, you will find me spending time with family and friends, hiking, playing volleyball, traveling, soaking up the sun and most importantly eating some great food! 😊
