As we are faced with daily obstacles and life challenges, we must dig down to find the courage to move forward.  At times, courage does not present itself as a roaring lion but as a small quiet voice that cannot be extinguished as it guides us along the pathway of life.

I am here to help you find your voice in this journey.  As a former educator and a therapist, I will work closely with you to help identify your needs, your fears, and your strengths—and then journey alongside you, to teach you the skills you need to be able to manage life stressors without losing track of yourself along the way.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety, depression, having difficulties adjusting to life changes, struggling with parenthood, or having relationship issues, you are not alone, and I am here to assist you.

As a licensed professional counselor, I bring a wealth of experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.  As a female of color, I am intrinsically aware of my role as a provider and the needs of individuals in the BIPOC community while working in a culturally competent and appropriate manner for all my clients.  I aim to bring support, guidance, and a safe environment to promote self-reflection, increase self-awareness, and promote individual change.  I provide counseling services to individuals(16+), specializing in women’s issues including maternal health, and interpersonal relationship concerns. I work from the modalities of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.  I am thrilled to bring over two decades of professional experience into private practice, and I hope to have an opportunity to speak with you soon.  Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a free consultation to see if we are a good fit for each other.
