Imagine feeling less anxious, less sad, less self-critical. Imagine feeling empowered to live a happier, more meaningful life. My counseling approach is strengths-focused and growth-oriented. I will work collaboratively with you to design a treatment plan based on your goals. My specialties are anxiety, depression and mood disorders, trauma recovery, and relationships. I have extensive experience in helping clients work through challenging life transitions. Whether you plan to improve relationships, find or change jobs, head to college or graduate school, process grief and loss, or courageously open up to your life’s possibilities, I look forward to helping you to move forward in a positive direction.

My therapeutic style draws on evidence-based techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which provides tools to help you tolerate your distress, regulate your emotions, and improve your interpersonal relationships. I also integrate Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed care into my clinical work.

I have been privileged to work with a diverse clientele in many different settings, including outpatient therapy, emergency services, university counseling centers, and EAPs. I have led psychotherapeutic groups, as well as support groups, focused on DBT, LGBTQ+ mental health, grief, divorce, mindfulness, and caring for the caregiver. I have given many professional presentations and trainings to local businesses and community groups on topics such as mindfulness, work/life balance, and stress management. I have also appeared on local media, speaking on topics such as anxiety, depression, suicide, holiday stress, and burn-out.

Your journey to better health and a more meaningful life starts with the commitment to yourself. You are worth it! If you want to spark creativity and live a more vibrant life, there is no time like the present.
